Most Powerful Way to Live in the Moment

Posted on December 31, 2022September 27, 2023 by careyourpresent

“You are so anxious about the future that you do not enjoy the present. You therefore do not live in the present or the future. You live as if you are never going to die, and then die having never really lived.”

Dalai Lama

Are you Caring Your Present and Living in the Current Moment?

Let me end the year 2022 with article.

The article is started with the quote by the great Dalai Lama above. The quote depicts the mindset and the way of living for most people. Many people are always regretting their pasts and worrying for their future such that they are never living in the present moment and caring their present right now at the current moment. As a result, they never feel satisfied or happy.

All of us know that we should and must Care Our Present, don’t dwell on the past and should not worry about the future. But are you living in your present? Or are you living in past or future instead of the present or simply didn’t even know how to live a real life, treasuring every moment that you have on earth?

This is what my blog about – to focus Care Your Present and share how to use business, investment, 9 to 5 salary to grow your wealth until you are rich but not forgetting to treasure the moment during the process. You can read more via this site via here.

Unless you are born with golden spoon, one definitely need to work to earn money for a living.

When you are 20s, one should spend time to grow business, climb corporate ladders, grow investment, basically use time to earn maximum money.

When you are on 30s, one should aim to earn more money per hour of work put in but reduce the time exchanged for money.

When you are 40s, aims to use no time or little time to exchange for money with your investment/businesses that one has built up in the earlier part of life (unless you really love your jobs, you should continue).

Time is limited, Money is unlimited

Time is limited resource, fixed on the day when you are borne. Your life is only just a dash 19XX – 20XX on your tomb grave. But money is unlimited resource that we printed by the government. Hence plan to grab most of it until you can buy back your time one day. In a meantime, live a good life.

The truth is no one is immortal, not even the great emperors in the past, great leaders in the past or even now. 100 years later, it will be another new batch of human beings on Earth. Most will just die and disappear from the surface of Earth. You won’t be remembered, even if you are remembered, so what? Does it matter when you are already dead?

Say is easy but to live in the moment is heard.

How many of us can really live in the moment? Very few sadly….

We are always full of regrets in past…

  • If I select this job instead of that job, I could achieve more
  • If I treasure this friend more, I will not have loss this friend
  • If I didn’t make this decision, I will definitely be better now
  • If I didn’t buy US growth stock or HK Tech Stock or Crypto, I will definitely be happier and richer
  • If I choose my passion instead of money, I could be happier, but now I am stuck, especially when I need the money for my family
  • If I choose her as my spouse instead of current spouse, I might happier….
  • If … and so on…
  • In the end, you keep regrets the past without being in the present…

We are always worrying about the future…

  • I know I hate my 9 to 5, but I can’t quit this job. What if I quit and cannot find another job, especially if recession is coming?
  • I already have millions networth with dividend/income cashflow if 10k per month which should be able to cover my expenses, but I shouldn’t quite my hated job. What if suddenly I fell sick and need money? What are the missions I have are not enough? what if recession come and hit my portfolio? What if I planned wrongly? Hence, i should not spend so much now, delay gratification more and earn more! Wait, how long should we do delay gratification? Until death bed?
  • What if I lose my job? I should up my skills, spend all my time to work hard and earn more money…
  • What if my spouse leaves me? I should get a lawyer to draft up a legal document to carefully spilt the asset in case this happen…
  • The list goes on and on… in the end you are keep worrying about the future every day and not in the present.

How to Care Your Present and live in the current moment ChatGPT way

One of the hottest things now is ChatGPT AI. Let us go ask ChatGPT and see what we get. This is the question that I have input:

10 ways to Care Your Present and live in the current moment. This is what I get from ChatGPT:

  1. Practice mindfulness: Being mindful means paying attention to the present moment and your thoughts and feelings without judgment. You can practice mindfulness through activities such as meditation, yoga, or simply paying attention to your breath.
  2. Take breaks from technology: It’s easy to get caught up in the constant stream of information and notifications from our devices. Taking breaks from technology can help you focus on the present moment and disconnect from the distractions of the digital world.
  3. Engage in activities that bring you joy: Doing things that you enjoy can help you feel more present and grounded in the moment. This can be anything from hobbies, exercise, or spending time with loved ones.
  4. Practice gratitude: Focusing on the things that you are grateful for can help you appreciate the present moment and find joy in your life.
  5. Set goals and priorities: Having clear goals and priorities can help you stay focused on the present moment and avoid getting distracted by unimportant tasks.
  6. Stay present in conversations: When you are having a conversation with someone, try to focus your attention on what they are saying and avoid getting distracted by your own thoughts or external distractions.
  7. Take care of your physical and mental health: Taking care of your physical and mental health can help you feel more present and focused. This includes things like getting enough sleep, eating well, and exercising regularly.
  8. Practice self-care: Taking time for yourself to relax and recharge can help you feel more present and focused. This can include activities like taking a warm bath or reading a book.
  9. Be present in your surroundings: Paying attention to your surroundings can help you feel more connected to the present moment. This can include noticing the sights, sounds, and sensations around you.
  10. Let go of negative thoughts: Negative thoughts can pull you out of the present moment and into the past or future. Practicing techniques like positive affirmations or reframing negative thoughts can help you let go of negative thinking and stay present.

If we look at the above 10 ways given by ChatGPT, they are quite useful and are ways that many people are using to make themselves to be in the present. However, they are not the best and the most powerful way. Let me share the most powerful way.

How to Care Your Present and live in the current moment? The Most Powerful Way

Everyone should know we should Care Our Present, but it is difficult to do it. Let me share with you a powerful method to remind yourself how to Care Your Present and to live in the current moment.

Imagine, you are living your life as per normal today – 7am wake up, say bye to your loved ones, go to work and be home 8pm. Hence, you do live your usual rat race life to grow wealth and get your beloved monthly paycheck.

Suddenly this happens…

Hospital: Created using https://creator.nightcafe.studio/

You found yourself woke up in the hospital, the doctor told you that you only have few hours left to live because you met a car accident on your way home today and you are seriously wounded.

Thoughts slowly floated into your mind…

The doctors called your families to come and see you for the one last time.

Your mind suddenly becomes blank, everything starts to go blank…

The thought that this will be your last time seeing them/hugging them make you very sad; the thought that this will be last few hours where you will be able to see this world crushes your soul; the thought that you will have many unfinished dreams to do/goals to achieve but there is no chance to doing so crushes your soul…

Soul Crushed sadness. Created using https://creator.nightcafe.studio/

Suddenly, sweet flashback images of your life started to flash across your mind….

  • Your loving memories of childhood
  • Your graduation from the university
  • Your first job
  • Your first kiss
  • Your first pay cheque
  • Your first boyfriend/girlfriend
  • Your happy marriage day
  • The birth of your child
  • The first moment where your beloved baby call you Papa/Mama
  • The first step taken by your baby
  • Your first trip with your families
Created using https://creator.nightcafe.studio/

After a while all these images started to float away…you started to feel regrets…

  • Why didn’t I take the brave step to chase after my dream?
  • What didn’t I travel more to see the world?
  • Why didn’t I quit that 9-5 job that are crushing my soul?
  • Why didn’t I spend more time with my loved one?
  • Why did I keep listening to what the society want me to do instead of what I really wanted to do?
  • What is the purpose of having so much money but now I won’t be able to spend it? I rather give up everything I have in banks for another moment in this world, doing the things I like.
  • Why did I waste time to get angry with trivia things?
  • Why did I quarrel with them instead of spending more effort to love them?
  • Why I didn’t spend more time to admire the sky, the greenery and everything nice around me?
  • Why did I spend time and get angry on useless, unimportant things? Like someone saying bad things about you.
  • Why did I keep regretting the past, worrying about the future instead of living in the moment, caring every single precious moment of the current present?
Gift of life: Created using https://creator.nightcafe.studio/

After a while…you suddenly realized that…

  • Life is short and should never be taken for granted that you can always live a long life until you are old
  • No one is immortal and will be gone one day
  • You are willing to give up everything you have in your bank account for just another moment to stand up and walk
  • You are willing to give up everything you have in your bank account for just another moment to hug your spouse and your kids
  • You are willing to give up anything just to experience the wonderful gift of life that most people have taken for granted for the one last time
  • You have wasted the precious gift of life that was given to you
  • You have wasted your life by listening to what the society tell you
  • You have wasted your life by not to taking actions to pursue your dreams
  • You have wasted your life by not to taking actions to pursue what you want in life
  • You have wasted your life by spending most of your waking hours in office instead of spending with your loved ones
  • You have wasted your life to regret over past things that have already happened
  • You have wasted your life to worry over future things that have not yet happened
  • You have wasted your life not to treasure/enjoy the current moment that you have
  • You have wasted your life for not caring your present enough to enjoy every single moment of your life, regardless good or bad situation

In short, you have wasted your life for not caring your present enough to enjoy every single moment of your life, regardless good or bad situation

The Most Powerful Way to Live in the Moment

Yes, the most powerful way to live in the moment is to realize that You should never take the Gift of Life for Granted.

Yes, please repeat after me again:

You should never take the Gift of Life for Granted. No one is immortal and will be gone from the surface of Earth one day and that day may come sooner than one think.

Years down the road on your deathbed, you can either

  • be feeling peaceful and happy because you didn’t take any moment for granted, treasuring and caring every single moment of your present OR
  • be full of resentment, regrets and anger because you are never living in the moment, treasuring your present, therefore do not live in the present or the future.

Let me bring back the quote that I brought up in the first part of this article again.

“You are so anxious about the future that you do not enjoy the present. You therefore do not live in the present or the future. You live as if you are never going to die, and then die having never really lived.”

Dalai Lama

Appreciate

I hope that everyone to take a small moment after reading this article to appreciate who you are and what you are doing in life right now at this moment, caring your present and living in the moment. The only moment of life is you right now at this very moment.

Please remember that you are not the person who you were in the past nor the person who want to become in the future. Appreciate every moment of the wonder of life, appreciate that you have eyes to read my article, appreciate that you are healthy and is able to walk etc. The key is never wait until the last moment of life before taking any action.

Money just buy you the chance of freedom.

When you are young and working, you exchange time for money. When you are old, you can have lots of money but you can’t buy time back, especially the things that you have missed while busying striking out in career. Of course, if you love your career, and consciously know that you are missing out the first time your child walk or talk, that’s ok, but if you are the other spectrum, please do something about it.

Your kids grew up and they no longer need you to accompany them. They no longer want to sit on your lap to share/do things with you…all these time you spent in your 9 to 6 or even longer cubicles…can the money that you have earned by you back these?

We always thought we have more time with our old parents, but we are wrong. Time with them is ticking away every day. One day it will suddenly be gone. There is no regret medicine, no reset in time. Gone is gone and cannot come back. No matter you are billionaires or millionaires, you cannot reset this.

We always thought that we have more time with our spouse every day, but we are wrong. One day they will be gone too. When you read this, please go tell your spouse that you love him/her and he or she is the best thing that you ever had in your life.

Ditch your mobile phone to build real life

Posted on December 10, 2022September 27, 2023 by careyourpresent

Look at the photo below. DOES this look familiar to you?

Courtesy from https://creator.nightcafe.studio/

Obsessed with phones

The photo above shows that we’re so obsessed with our phones that we can’t even go to the bathroom without them / can’t even have a proper meal with your loves one. We’re not just talking about checking your phone every five minutes or playing Candy Crush on the toilet — we’re talking about actually interact and taking to one another over a simple meal only.

This isn’t just a trend in Singapore it’s happening all over the world, and it’s not just affecting adults. Kids are spending more time with their phones than ever before, and they’re developing social skills that are less than ideal. We’ve seen a lot of articles about this problem already, but here’s our take on the negative effects of hoarding to your phones and how you can ditch your phone in order to build real relationships in real life.

Less Human

If you’re like most people, you probably spend a lot of time on your phone. And if you don’t, you might be wondering why the hell not. The truth is that smartphones are amazing. They’re powerful computers that fit in our pockets and can do almost anything we want them to do. They make us more productive and allow us to stay in touch with friends and family from anywhere around the world. But there’s a dark side to all this convenience: It’s making us less human.

Avoiding Awkward silence

When we stop talking in person and start texting instead, then it becomes easier to avoid difficult conversations or uncomfortable silences. We can scroll through Instagram rather than talk face-to-face with someone who might make us feel vulnerable or shy. And when we get caught up in our phones while hanging out with friends or family members, even if they’re right next to us, it’s easy for our attention to drift away from them toward some other place — like a fantasy world made up of pixels on a screen — where everything is always interesting and exciting because it doesn’t have any real consequences for us personally.

You are your phone. Your phone is you.

Sometimes we become so attached to our phone that it can feel like a part of us. We check it constantly, even when we know it’s not necessary. It’s a habit that has become so ingrained in our lives that we don’t even realize how much time we’re spending on it. Our phones have become more than just a way to communicate with others. They are our cameras, our calendars and even our wallets. We rely on them for so much that sometimes it feels like there’s no way to get away from them.

Your friends or families in your phone not in front of you

Every time when I am outside with friends or families, my vision is everywhere except where it should be — on the street in front of me, the sky above me, the scenery around me etc. My eyes are constantly scanning for emails and text messages and missed calls. I want to know where my friends are at all times. And since they want to know that about me too, we’re all losing contact with one another in real-world space.

Unhealthy Addiction

We all know that a lot of people are addicted to their phones. And it’s not just the younger generation, it’s grown adults too. I’m one of them. I can’t go more than 10 minutes without checking my phone for new messages or notifications. It’s bad and I know it. But I’ve been trying to break this habit, and it’s been surprisingly difficult. It’s like trying to quit smoking or lose weight: You know it’s bad for you and that you should do something about it, but somehow you keep sabotaging yourself and going back to your old ways. The first step is admitting that there’s a problem, so let me be clear: I am addicted to my phone. And if you’re reading this column on your phone right now? You probably are too.

What if..

But what if you could ditch your mobile phone for one day? What if you could leave your home without having to take your phone with you? Would you be able to function without it? What would happen to your relationships, your interactions with other people, and your sense of yourself?

It would be a little scary right? You’d have to fight off boredom. Your phone is so much a part of your identity, you might feel like without it, you don’t even exist. It’s possible that without it, you’d be more productive or even more social with your friends and family. But whether or not you’re able to survive a day without your smartphone, there are still benefits to be gained from thinking about how easy it is to become reliant on our phones.

A day without phone

Okay, so that’s a tall order. And it’s not like I’ve done it recently—my phone is usually glued to my hand. But I’ve done it before, and it was pretty awesome.

I recently decided to take my own advice and leave my mobile phone at home while I went out without mobile phones with family. Here’s what happened:

On my way to way to Supermarket one day for grocery shopping, I left my phone at home. I just went out with my wallet and myself. I didn’t bring any watch too.

I felt so loss, some part of me is missing

I had no way to keep track of the time, so when my bus pulled up at my stop, I just got on and let it take me to my destination without knowing the time. When I got off, I wandered around trying to retrace my steps—and that’s when I noticed the first thing: I don’t have any idea of any sense of time.

I also felt so loss. I have no idea what happening in the world right now. Is there anyone email me? Is there any interesting social media news now? What happen to my tweets in Twitters? I want to take a photo, but I have no camera. I felt so loss, some part of me is missing. I am nervous too.

Something suddenly happens

However, something happened suddenly. I have suddenly discovered that the sky is so beautiful (of course the photo below was taken another day when I am still stuck with my phone after this ditch phone exercise). I observed the cars around me, people around me, shops around me. And of course, many people are still looking at their phone even when walking.

I have also saw a family with child but with all of them engage in their own world with their mobile phone. It looks so sad. We have lost our human touch.

Lessons learnt

After that day, I have learnt that life is beautiful with or without phone. Consciously or subconsciously, we are always into our phones.

When I am supposed to be out physically and mentally with my kids to play or even just to accompany them at home without doing anything, I keep on looking at my phone until my kid tell me “Can you put aside your phone?” Our time with them is limited. While they still want to play with me, I must ditch my phone.

I must also learn to be present physically to friends, families, even just admire the scenery around me whenever I can. Enjoy real physical life instead of the virtual world.

Go watch

For those who still remembered this movie or didn’t watch this movie before, do go watch this movie. Hopefully one day we won’t end up like the humans in this movie where they are glued to devices from the day, they are borne.

Go experience a day or even just few moments without phone

Imagine a day or even just a few moments without phone without your mobile phone. That little device that you check every few minutes, and from which you can’t separate yourself for more than a few minutes at a time.

What would you do with the time?

You could try taking a walk, since you don’t have the map function on your phone, so you’d have to remember how to get somewhere all by yourself. You’re less likely to find your way back home – but maybe it’s an interesting adventure! You could try writing a letter to someone. It would be pretty hard to take pictures, though! So no selfies.

So awesome, in fact, that I’m willing to take an hour out of my time to convince you that you should do the same. I’m talking about the Day of the Phone Detox—which isn’t an official event, but one that many people have been doing around the world for years now.

Of course, it’s not like we’re saying everyone should ditch their phones right now. It’s just an experiment, after all. But if we all tried it at once and had the same experience…, could we learn something?

The idea:

One day, just once a year, you go all-out and leave your phone at home. You aren’t allowed to take any calls, nor can you send or receive any texts or emails or otherwise communicate electronically with anyone while out of your house. If someone wants to contact you—whether it’s a friend, a family member, a colleague at work—they have to call or text you on another number (or come by in person). It’s an alternate reality where your life is unplugged from the Internet and directly connected with other people. Then you can observe what happen to you.

Let’s work together and remind one another

I know this is difficult, but it is a good step to take. I am still learning and trying hard to move away from my phones during important physical interaction with others and with the real world outside.

Let’s work hard together and remind one another, ok? Get back the human touch and let the world be a better place. Ditch your phone whenever you can and live a real life.

Careyourpresent: Time is the most important

Posted on December 6, 2022September 27, 2023 by careyourpresent

Time is the most important

I always advocate the most important gift that one can ever give to their loved one – be it family or child or parent is time. This is something which we always don’t have, especially that when we are busy working or busy with some other things that are actually not so important at this point of your life.

A reminder from my Child Today

Today around 10pm while we were playing in the living room. He suddenly played this song and ask me to listen.

After listening to this, I am stunned with some tears drop out. I know what he meant, I was too busy working and totally ignore him for despite he got things to share with me.

Even if you work from home, can you fully dedicate to give undivided attention and time to your child/spouse/loved one? I can’t.

Then my younger girl suddenly played another song and ask me to listen too. She is telling me the same thing.

To all who have the same problem as me

They are only young once. If you missed it, it will be gone forever. They are telling me that they want my time and attention instead of money to buy things for them.

Example, your child 4 year, 10 days old only happen 1 day.

FIRE (Financial Independent Retire Early) but still working!

Posted on December 5, 2022September 27, 2023 by careyourpresent

I take inspiration to write this article from the recent posts of sg finance bloggers who goes back to work despite FIRE. Few examples,

Christ from Tree of Prosperity despite FIRE (Financial Independent, Retire Early) very early (likely with huge buffers) shared in his recent post that he went back to legal work.

Happyreitinvestor FIRE but he went on to explore real-estate business.

Financial Independent, Retire Early

When people talk about financial independence and early retirement, they usually focus on the benefits of having more free time in your life. While this is true, it’s not the only benefit that comes with achieving financial independence. It also gives you the freedom to choose how you want to live your life without having to worry about money as much as before you achieved it.

Financial independence gives you the freedom to choose how you want to live your life without having to worry about money as much as before you achieved it.

Financial independence gives you the freedom to choose how you want to live your life without having to worry about money as much as before you achieved it. When you are financially independent, you can do whatever you want with your time. Some of the things that people choose to do include:

  • Spending more time with family and friends
  • Traveling more
  • Spending more time on hobbies and interests

Achieving financial independence at an early age gives people more time to pursue hobbies, volunteer, or find other meaningful work in retirement.

Financial independence is a choice, and one that many people make to pursue their interests and passions. Achieving financial independence at an early age gives people more time to pursue hobbies, volunteer, or find other meaningful work in retirement. Financial independence makes pursuing those interests less of a burden because there’s no longer the need to work just for the sake of paying bills or having money coming in each month.

Financial independence is also beneficial because it allows you to take advantage of opportunities when they arise without worrying about how much they pay you or whether they could jeopardize your financial freedom. An opportunity may come along that would allow you to travel around the world—and if something like this presents itself now that you don’t have full-time employment obligations then taking it might be ideal for your own happiness as well as future earnings potential (because working abroad increases skill set).

The main reason people say they don’t want to be retired is because they would be bored.

There are a lot of people who say they don’t want to retire because they would be bored. I know that feeling all too well. Boredom is one of the biggest reasons why people don’t like their jobs, but we can be bored at home as well. The difference is that at home we have the time and space to think about what’s missing from our lives, whereas work often fills up our schedules so much that it leaves no room for self-reflection or reflection on life goals and aspirations.

So what can you do? You need something new, something different – and perhaps even challenging! Just as you wouldn’t want your kids (if you have children) sitting around watching TV all day long instead of going outside playing sports or learning how to play an instrument, you shouldn’t let yourself get bored either! Here are some ideas:

  • Join a book club
  • Make more friends
  • Take up photography (or any other hobby)
  • Learn how to cook new foods or make better versions of your favorite dishes
  • Spend more time with family

Your brain benefits from engaging in challenging activities.

Your brain benefits from engaging in challenging activities. The human brain is designed to learn, solve problems, and grow. It is like a muscle that needs exercise to stay healthy and active. When you challenge your mind with new tasks and activities, it strengthens itself for future tasks.

When you are working on a project that requires creativity or problem solving, your brain releases dopamine which is the same chemical released when you eat chocolate or have sex! This makes us feel good about accomplishing something difficult; it’s how we know we are doing something right!

Working after reaching financial independence is a choice that allows you to continue earning income without worrying about how much you need to make to retire comfortably.

Financially independent and still working? I’m glad you asked!

Working after reaching financial independence is a choice that allows you to continue earning income without worrying about how much you need to make to retire comfortably. It doesn’t mean your retirement goals have changed or that your plan has shifted, but it can be an enjoyable way to feel productive and give back at the same time.

This may also mean stay connected with society—and help others in the society by giving back through contributing to the workforce. Of course, some FIRE but still has some innate worry about not enough money due to sudden expected condition etc…

Mental challenges help keep the brain sharp and stay alert.

As you can see, being financially independent is not a bad thing. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Being financially independent allows you to experience many more opportunities that you may have missed out on in the past. Not only will you be able to travel and learn more about yourself, but your brain will also stay sharp and alert as well! The key is to challenge yourself mentally by doing things such as reading books or going on adventures.

Freedom

It’s important to remember that financial independence doesn’t mean you have to stop working. Instead, it gives you the freedom to choose how much time and money you want to spend on your career. This is especially true if you’re just starting out in life or want more time for family members and friends before retiring.

Careyourpresent: Over or Under think your Life and Investment?

Posted on November 30, 2022June 10, 2023 by careyourpresent

Thinking about your Life and Investment

How much do you think about your life and investment? Do you spend a lot of time thinking about the past or future? Are you overthinking and underthinking these things? In this article, I will explain what I mean by “overthinking” and “underthinking,” then give some tips on how to improve yourself and live in the moment.

Overthink and Underthink your Life

  • Overthink:

Overthinking can be a bad thing. You think too much about the past and future, and not enough about the present. You don’t enjoy life as much. And you can’t live in the moment like everyone else does.

  • Underthink:

Underthinking is also bad because you take everything for granted and don’t appreciate what’s happening now, thus making your life boring every day.

If You Think Too Much About The Past

If you spend too much time thinking about the past, you will be stuck in it. You’ll be so focused on what happened that you won’t notice new opportunities or possibilities. And the sad thing is that this can extend to the rest of your life as well. You might begin to feel like your life has been a waste because of all the mistakes and opportunities you’ve missed out on.

However, there are ways to overcome this problem:

  • Focus on looking forward instead of backward—It’s important not to get stuck in negative thoughts about yourself or other people because if you do, then those thoughts will become reality for you! Instead, focus on what is happening right now and try not to think about what happened yesterday or even last year since it’s done now anyway!

If you think too much about the future

When you overthink, your mind can be so consumed with the future that it loses sight of what’s happening right now. The result is a sense of constant regret and worry. “What if?” questions float around in your head, keeping you from enjoying the present moment and distracting you from doing what needs to be done now.

Overthinking can also lead to inaction—you might do nothing because it all seems too overwhelming or complicated. Or maybe there are so many possible outcomes that it paralyzes you completely, making decision-making difficult or even impossible (which leads back to indecision).

Excessive worry can cause anxiety and depression as we get stuck in our heads, unable to escape those thoughts no matter how hard we try (or don’t try).

Improve yourself and live in the moment

You always want to improve yourself and live in the moment. A lot of people over-think things too much, and this can affect their decision-making ability. They end up regretting their decisions later because they didn’t think about how it would affect them in the long run. So, if you’re thinking about making a big decision or planning for your future, make sure that you don’t plan for it too much.

There are some ways that we can improve ourselves and live in the current moment:

  • Improving our health and fitness levels
  • Getting involved with something new that we enjoy doing (like learning a new hobby)
  • Listening more often instead of talking all the time

Before you make any decision, notice your present and take a few seconds to think about its potential consequences

Before you make any decision, notice your present and take a few seconds to think about its potential consequences. This way, you can be sure that whatever choice you make will not lead to regrets later on.

Here are some things to consider when making a decision:

  • Do I really need this?
  • Will it make me happy?

Overthink and underthink your investment

Overthinking and underthinking your investment can be a serious problem too.

Overthinkers are the ones who worry about the future too much and are hesitant to make decisions because they might regret their choice later on. On the other hand, underthinkers tend to get excited by new ideas without considering whether they’re good or bad. They then end up making rash decisions that lead them down a path of failure and disappointment. The difference between overthinking and underthinking is actually quite simple: overthinkers let fear hold them back from taking risks while underthinkers ignore their fears and go for it anyway (with disastrous results).

Examples of over-and-under thinking include:

  • For example, an investor could use this approach to determine what type of investments he wants to pursue in order to maximize his returns on investment over time; however he may also find himself unable to invest anything at all because he’s afraid that something bad might happen with his investments if he does not do enough research beforehand!

Enjoy the present moment, enjoy your life. Don’t plan for future too much.

Hope this article has help you to find out how much Over or Underthink your Life and Investment.

You can enjoy your present moment, enjoy your life instead of planning for future too much. Also don’t overthink or underthink your investment and don’t overthink or underthink your Life.

Just enjoy your present life

In order to improve your life, it is crucial that you focus on the present moment. Don’t worry about the past and don’t worry about the future. Don’t worry about what other people think and don’t worry about what other people are doing. Don’t let other people’s opinions of you influence your decisions either positively or negatively; instead, make sure that those opinions are not influencing anything at all besides small talk with others (which is still important).

Lastly, don’t let fear control your life by allowing yourself to be paralyzed by overthinking things too much and creating anxiety unnecessarily from changes in circumstance that may occur depending on how we act today—both good and bad situations can happen if we allow them through our own actions so it’s important not too stress about either one beforehand because then nothing will ever change for us which means no progress toward anything better than where we currently stand now will ever occur!

Live a better life, Care Your Present

The key to living a happy and successful life is to keep things simple. With the rise in technology, we have become more and more dependent on our smartphones. We have lost sight of what’s most important-our relationships with other people and our health. So make sure you take some time out each day to just enjoy yourself and Care Your Present!

Important Updates

Dear Readers

Thank you for your support all these months. Life is difficult, the world is in a mess, but we still need to work hard, progress to a better and happier life.

This post is to announce two things:

(1) I have moved from https://careyourpresent.wordpress.com/ to https://careyourpresent.com/

(2) I have launched my new public Telegram Group (and Channel)

You may wish to refer to this post at my previous site for more information.

For the ease of my readers, I have also extracted this post and put it below.

—————————————————————————————————-

Dear Readers,

Thank you for supporting this site and be my readers of my posts for the past few months.

I have two key things to update today.

First and foremost, this site is currently under wordpress.com with limited plugins and features.

With the arrival of the great discount day of Black Friday few days ago, I have decided to take the opportunity to move to a more comprehensive site (https://careyourpresent.com/) with dedicated hosting under wordpress.org in order to improve the readers’ experiences with my site. In case you are wondering, I am using Hostinger. It took me quite a while to research before I decide to use this company. Three key reason(s) that I use this is because they have data center in Singapore, good pricing, fast and responsive 24/7 customer service care to answer any enquiries.

If you wish to shift your hosting plan to this company, do feel free to use my referral link. You will receive 20% from the purchased hosting plan price. Do note that the Criteria for new referrals are as follow:

  1. Your referral has to be the first time purchase
  2. Referred customer purchases hosting plan (except for email and cPanel hosting) for at least 12 months
  3. Client did not refund and is active for at least 45 days

Going forward, I will be posting at the new site, do pardon me if you found any errors and any part of the websites not setup properly. I am still a learning wordpress.org. If you have any tips, good plugins do share with me too. I am always very happy to learn new things 🙂

The second thing which I wish to update is that I have decided to launch my public Telegram Group (and Channel). The objective of this group is:

This public group aims to be a conducive platform for anyone to discuss any investment related matters – Crypto, TradiFi like reits stocks ETF etc, Metaphysics, Astro, TA, FA, Macro etc.

With the recent collapse of FTX, many of us should have realized that it is important for like-minded people who are into investing to share their views/thoughts and latest news of the market quickly. For FTX case, I managed to escape with thanks for many FUD news in CT as well as other Telegram chat groups. Hence, as part of this large community, I think I should do my part to contribute.

In case for new readers who are unsure of the theme of my site, let me share again as these groups matches my objective(s) of my site (that’s why I have launched it).

In this world, in order to have the chance to Careyourpresent, you will need the means (money) for it. Hence, I will be also covering finance related topics such as Crypto. These will be two main themes of this website.

Theme 1: Careyourpresent – sharing how to Careyourpresent, living a real life.

Theme 2: Finance related topics especially CRYPTO (including using Metaphysics).

Sorry for the long texts.

Hope to see you in my public Telegram Group (and Channel) and at my new site https://careyourpresent.com/

Cheers 🙂
